Golf, Eggs and Hooks that Make You Look Good and Feel Great!
Hello everyone!

It is a little chilly in central Florida today which is quite strange for an April day in  Florida.  Thankfully, the heat index will start rising and, by the weekend, the 80's!

Golf, Eggs and Hooks that make You Look Good and Feel Great???  What!!  Look below and you will discover!

I am excited to bring to you golf fashions for women and men!  In 2008 I began a new column as the Fashion and Style Editor of the Golf Channel and I absolutely love it!  I review golf apparel and accessories for women and men so they look stylish on and off the golf course.  My last review is on the women's designer ISISport...a quite dazzling ladies golf apparel line.  Ladies, I wanted to let you know so you can check it out!  You can see my review and their apparel at www.successfulstyle-image.com/columns.htm and click on Golf Channel.

Also here are some other nifty items that I like and recommend to you!

Purse Hook - A hook that holds your purse off the ground.  I was a little leery about this product because of the miniature size of the hook.   However, when I tried it out with my purse (a heavy weight at times), it worked to my surprise!  The Purse Hook kept my purse off the floor eliminating any of the germs or dirt it would pick up!   An added benefit is the Purse Hook can keep your purse in your sight so it stays safe!  The Purse Hooks hold up to 35 pounds and comes in a savvy gold or silver with a velvet carrying case.

I recommend the Purse Hook!  (There is a maximum weight).  You can the Purse Hook at Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens 'n Things and Wal-Mart.  www.pedegg.com.  The suggested retail price is $10.00">www.telebrands.com

PedEgg - A portable foot file for women or men.  When I received this product it intrigued me to say the least.  I love pedicures and my nail specialist does a fantastic job so I was not sure about the portability, usability, and results  of this  product.  I open it, read the instructions and slowly tried it out.  I was a little nervous of the micro files because I did not want them to cut my foot.  As I gently used the PedEgg, it began to  remove my dead skin (you can see the skin it removes in the storage compartment built inside) with no nicks or cuts.  Once I was finished, I attached the a buffing pad (you receive two)  to the bottom side of the PedEgg and finished the smoothing touches for my feet.

The PedEgg worked!  If you are in between pedicures, your feet are rough or you give yourself a pedicure, the PedEgg is a needed item.    It is small and fits nicely with all your nail and feet finishing items.  You can buy PedEgg at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Linens 'n Things, Target and CVS or go to www.pedegg.com.  The suggested retail price is $10.00

I hope you enjoyed my recommendations. In each blog entry, I  will give you more plus suggestions and tips to make yourself your absolute best!!  Thanks for joining me today.  If you have comments, please let me know.

Make it a great day!!

Social/Casual Sweaters with Holiday Appeal!
Hello Everyone!

With the holidays almost upon us and the chilly air surrounding us, it is time to pull out our holiday sweaters or buy a new one!

There are so many occasions when you can wear a holiday sweater, a child's holiday party at school, running errands,  at work, an evening event,  or your teen's is in a program at school, etc.  Whatever the holiday or festive  theme wear sweaters that are stylish yet comfortable!

Here are some savvy holiday sweater tips!

1.  Look for sweaters with a knit/spandex, wool/spandex, acrylic/cotton, and such fabrics.  These fabrics will give you a slender festive look instead of a bulky look.

2.  Opt for festive or holiday patterns that are an inlay in the fabric rather than on top of the fabric.

3.  Don't shy away from vivid color or some elegant embellishment (for women) on evening holiday sweaters.

Look dynamic this holiday season with a stylish appeal!

Make it great!

Snappy responses are unconstructive.
Hi everyone,

Today I was on the telephone speaking with an information assistance professional to retrieve a number.  After spelling out the name of the company, two times, the information professional tells me there is no number'  I pleasantly ask how he is spelling it and when he recites it back to me, he is spelling it wrong.  When I let him know he has transposed two letters, he jumps all over me stating that does not matter and hangs up on me.  I don't know what transpired in his day or what he was confronting but his short, unhelpful response was not productive.

Snappy responses reduce communication and are ineffective.  If your day is stressful, which many are, don't loose sight of the "end result" you want from the communication.  If you know you are going to be speaking with someone or an interruption appears, don't lose your cool, take a moment to regroup and then proceed with the communication.  You will be happy you did and the "end result" will be productive.

Make it a great day!
